Dutch Learning Log - negation
Rule: Often Dutch has negation in the sentence. Geen often goes before the noun. Niet often goes at the end of the sentence.
Duch - Nee ze hebben geen menu. (No, they have no menu,)
English - No, they do not have a menu.
Reflection: Perhaps, geen mean 'no'. Perhaps nicht is a negation of the verb hebben 'to have'.
Ne, ili ne havas menuon. Esperanto
